It was really a hectic day 4 me today
1st: at the early morning ,we got fire drill at school
we were asked,were actly forced to run to school field according to fire route immediately after the loud cyren
cham~~ The hot sun above kept burning us

The best way to reduce sun exposure:squad down and back face to the sun
6 of us trying hard to stay cool under hot sun ~~

After being exposed to hot SUN for half an hour,
the next important task waiting for us:
.........DISSECTING RAT..........
19 of us in class quickly turned into doctors-doctors in a short while and everyone was bz with preparation
after preparing all the intruments on table,
here goes our dissecting rat experiment!!

OPen up it's legs and hands,and GET ready!!

the first step to dissect a rat:pin it up
feel quite disguisting without gloves when started touching
slowly ..slowly,i felt excited to touch it.xD
maybe bcos we are same species ..One thing i found interesting was it's teeth,really looks like mine..

LOok at it's teethhhhh,yeeeeee...

At first ,bear was so scared to touch the rat,so i helped her to pin up her rat 1st on dissecting board
Hmmm..i guess her rat is cacat type,i have to use some strength to open it's hands and legs,maybe bcos the rat suffered too much when killed,funny bear kept screaming beside,lol.


after finishing pin up my rat,i went to 88 around
kacau some slow ppl like sookyee.

teacher 'demo' time!
3 teachers,hmm..i guess 4 if not mistaken,taught,showed and explained to us the proper way to dissect a rat

it's quite kan cheong when cut it's stomach as once u miscut one of the arteries or veins,your whole experiment is considered failed if it's bleeding
naughty teachers "played around"organs inside rat's stomach for so long that i can't wait to CUT my rat!

FINALLY

it's out time to show our cutting skill=)


CUT ..CUT..CUT,all it's about cutting!!
it was really hard for me to make a hole on stomach at 1st
all i can cut was it's fur and the outer skin layer only,yer.
after spending long time,i finally cut thru the inner layer and slowly open up it's stomach and 'discover'the digestive part

Compare my rat with suxian's rat,mine one is different abit,haha




i was shocked abit when saw lil purplish red balls inside the digestive part
of my rat

At first i thought it was smthg like intestines,
after had some 'discussions'with teachers, only realised that my rat was actly a female, and it adi had 10 babies inside it's stomach as 10 lil balls each contain one rat baby.and i got whole class's attention,even the next class students came 2 have a look on my lil rat,hehe.

overall,we guys had fun dissecting rats in lab till skipped our lunch break
and I wish to try on OTHER organism the next time..xD
